Advice for Trail Runners: The HOKA Men's Challenger 7 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes are fully-waterproof.

These hybrid style trail running shoes offer great performance on a range of surfaces.

Underfoot Feel

The HOKA Challenger 7 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes have the same midsole and outsole as the standard edition.

Inspired by gravel tyres, the outsole optimises grip on both loose and compact terrain. This means you can comfortably transition from the road to trail.

A soft compression moulded EVA midsole is coupled with HOKA's signature rocker geometry. As a result, the cushioning should feel comfortable on harder surfaces.

Upper Fit

The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper in these HOKA Challenger 7 Trail Running Shoes is completely waterproof. There's virtually no difference between the fit of the GORE-TEX edition and standard upper. This is down to Invisible Fit technology.

Ideal Run Type

We suggest using the HOKA Men's Challenger 7 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes when you're running on a mixture of surfaces in the rain. For example, tarmac, woodland trails, gravel paths, and parks.

The Challenger GORE-TEX is the epitome of great door-to-trail running shoes.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
